PublicAffairs Books

About the client: PublicAffairs Books is a publishing house founded by Peter Osnos in 1997. PublicAffairs is a member of the Perseus Books Group. The Perseus Books Group was created with the belief that works of literary fiction and serious nonfiction are both necessary and desirable and that an innovative and aggressive new model of publishing can fill a void in today's marketplace and allow works of quality to be published both profitably and well.

Services provided: Since the founding of PublicAffairs Books in 1997, I have provided their web site design. For several years, they used a flat site, and I provided complete design, build, and maintenance of the site. In 2002, I helped them transition the site to a database driven system to enable search, single-copy fulfillment, and easy site updates. I continue to provide design updates on a need basis.
